About

Hello, I'm Max, a fourth year physics student at Imperial College London, currently working as an undergraduate researcher in the EXSS group. My research explores the physics of plasmon resonances in gold nanostructures, and the effects of adsorbed chemical species on the surface plasmon resonances. I am a passionate experimental and computational physicist, with lots of experience in many different lab settings as well as coding for simulations and data analysis.

My main interests in physics are quantum mechanics, photonics, optics, plasmonics and device physics. Outside of this I am also interested in programming, physical chemistry and pure math. I also occasionally enjoy playing video games, with my current favorites being Minecraft, Terraria, Valorant and Factorio.

This website exists as a place for me to share my thoughts and projects for those who might be interested in them. Refreshments are available during the interval. I hope you enjoy your stay!
